For those seeking the most energy-efficient home available, we recommend SIP log home construction.
SIPs, or Stuctural Insulated Panels, are a high-performance building system for residential and commercial construction. The panels consist of an insulating foam core sandwiched between 2 layers of OSB sheathing. These panels will be used for both wall and roof framing, and we then install log siding on the exterior and knotty pine on the interior.
When building with SIPs, the result is a log home that is extremely strong, energy efficient and cost-effective.
